Hi ha diferents maneres d’ajudar-nos per formar part de l’equip de voluntariat del Jardinet dels Gats. Us fem un petit resum de les diverses maneres que hi ha i, d’aquesta manera, us podeu apuntar al que més us agradi i pugueu fer.
- Venint al Jardinet dels gats una vegada a la setmana per tal d’ajudar, juntament amb altres voluntaris, a tenir el jardinet net, donar de menjar als peludets i cuidar els gatets que estan en boxes, ja sigui perquè estan malalts i han anat al veterinari o perquè són gats que acabem de rescatar.
- Ajudant-nos quan fem fires i esdeveniments que tenim i, d’aquesta manera, ser capaços d’autogestionar-nos, trobar adoptants, voluntaris, padrins i cases d’acollida, així com difondre la tasca que duem a terme.
- Fent manualitats per poder recaptar fons a les fires.
- Ajudant-nos fent rescats dels gats de la zona de Ciutat Vella de Barcelona.
- Ajudant-nos a portar i a recollir gats del veterinari.
- Fent de casa d’acollida mentre busquem als gats una casa d’adopció.
- Apadrinant a un gat del Jardinet.
- Fent difusió pel facebook, twitter o instagram, de tots els gats que tenim i de les activitats que duem a terme. És molt important per a nosaltres arribar al màxim de gent.
Al ser tots nosaltres, un grup exclusivament de voluntaris, hem de demanar a tots els voluntaris un compromís de dia i hora per venir al Jardinet. Sense aquest compromís, no seria possible tenir tan ben cuidats els gats que viuen a la colònia, doncs ells ens necessiten 24/7/365.
Per a ells, no hi ha vacances, ponts ni festius i t’han se val si el dia es plujos, fa fred o fa sol, cada dia necessiten de l’equip de voluntariat per atendre les seves necessitats bàsiques com l’alimentació, i la neteja.Que son les tasques principals que es duen a terme. Ells son gats asilvestrats i majoritariament no els agrada el contacte ni la proximitat i per tant cal respectar els seus espais i els seus temps.A canvi pots gaudir de la seva companyia i saber que ajudes a fer millor la seva vida.
Vols formar part del nostre grup de voluntariat? Busquem gent amant dels gats i amb ganes de col·laborar amb nosaltres per buscar a cada un dels peludets una vida millor.
Un cop envis la petició, et respondran entre 24 i 72 hores hauràs d’omplir un formulari amb diverses preguntes, un cop rebut, l’equip fa la valoració i quan hi ha prous persones interessades, i cal voluntariat en algun dels equips, se us convoca, a una reunió informativa, i en cas que estigueu interessats/des, el periode de formació es d’un mes, venint un dia concret un cop per setmana, fins a quatre vegades. I a partir d’aqui s’assigna el dia de voluntariat, en funció de les necessitats de l’entitat.

[:en]Our aim is to rescue and take care of feral and abandoned cats, as well as watch over the existing cat colonies in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. There are many ways in which you can help us as a member of the Jardinet dels Gats team of volunteers. Here is a small summary of what you can do to help so you can choose what you would like to do the most.- Come to the Jardinet dels Gats once a week to help, together with other volunteers, keep the garden clean, feed the cats, and look after the cats in boxes, whether they are ill and have been to the vets or they are cats which have recently been rescued.
- Help out when we do fairs. That way we can self manage the organisation and tell people about what we do, in addition to find adopters, foster homes and sponsors as well as recruit more volunteers.
- Make things (handicrafts, etc) that we can sell at the fairs and events.
- Help us rescue cats in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona.
- Help us take and pick up cats from the vets.
- Provide a foster home for cats while we find someone to adopt them.
- Sponsor a cat in the Jardinet.
- Share all the cats we have and everything we do on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It’s very important that we reach as many people as possible.
Given that we are a group of exclusively volunteers, we do request that all volunteers commit to a specific day and time in which they will come to the Jardinet. Without this commitment, we wouldn’t be able to look after the cats in the colony as well as we do.
For them, there are no holidays, bridges or holidays and it is worth it if the day is raining, it is cold or it is sunny, every day they need the volunteer team to meet their basic needs such as food, and cleaning. They are cats who are asylum-seekers and mostly do not like contact or proximity and therefore must respect their spaces and times. In return you can enjoy their company and know that you help to make their life better.
Would you like to become a volunteer? We are always looking for cat lovers who would like to volunteer with the aim of providing a better life for each of the cats.
Once you have sent the request, 24 to 72 hours, they will answer you and you will have to fill in a form with several questions, once received, the team makes the assessment and when there are enough people interested, and volunteering is required in any of the teams, you are called, to an informative meeting, and in case you are interested, the training period is one month, coming a specific day once a week, up to four times. And from here the day of volunteering is assigned, according to the needs of the entity.
