The godparents are a key piece in the development of all the actions that we carry out from our organization El Jardinet dels Gats. Thanks to this support and your donations, day by day we can cope with the maintenance of the cats in the colony. We know that thanks to the sponsors, the cats in the garden have their basic needs for food and deworming covered.
Thanks to the donations from the godfathers and godmothers, we can buy all the food we need for the cats. We buy different varieties of cans of wet food and some of them must be very specific to adequately cover the needs of cats. In addition, we always buy a very good quality food, since over the years we have seen that if the cats eat quality food they are healthier. The sponsors also help us cover the veterinary expenses of the cats in the colony.
Sponsors can make a monthly donation of at least €5 or they can make a quarterly or annual donation. Each godfather decides the amount of the donation he wishes to make.
It must be said that the sponsorship of a cat is symbolic, since no cat or cat is left without having the same needs covered. As animal lovers, we will never let any cat have less than another. rescued cats and cats that live in the Jardinet or are fostered.
Whenever there is information to highlight about the sponsored cat, we write an email to its godparents, so that they are always up to date. We also send photographs of the sponsored cat or cat.
Godfathers and godmothers can stop by to see the cats in the little garden and their sponsored cat, every Saturday from 12pm to 2pm, by previously sending an e-mail to apadrina.eljardinetdelsgats@gmail.com to arrange the visit.
