Donations
If you would like to support us, there are many ways to do so. We understand that not everyone has the time to become a volunteer, but there are plenty of other ways to help:
- Donating cat food, dry or wet food, cat medications, special dietary food, cat beds in good condition, toys, and other items your cat no longer uses.
The cats at El Jardinet will be delighted to make good use of them. These donations can make a real difference to their daily lives. - Donating blankets or bedsheets that you no longer use. These are always useful for making the beds and shelters of the cats living at El Jardinet more comfortable.
- Donating books that you no longer want. As long as they are recent and in good condition, these books can help us raise funds at our charity book stall during Sant Jordi (Saint George’s Day).
- Donating clothes and accessories in good condition for our MerCAT charity markets, which take place every three months. Our philosophy is based on second chances: finding loving homes for abandoned and stray cats while also giving clothes and accessories a new life. These donations help us raise funds for the care and well-being of all the cats living at El Jardinet and those we have rescued. It is also a way to promote reducing, reusing and recycling.

We always appreciate it if you email us at eljardinetdelsgats@gmail.com before dropping off your donations. This allows us to assess each donation and coordinate its collection.
Our charity donation points are local businesses that generously support our organisation on a voluntary basis. It is important for us to be able to plan and manage the donations they receive.

Your donation will help us purchase food and medication and cover veterinary care for our cats. Please remember to include “donatiu” (donation) as the payment reference.
