El Jardinet dels Gats is an emblematic spot in Barcelona. It is an idyllic space where our project began in 2005, thanks to the help of the Ciutat Vella District.

The organisation as we know it today was constituted on January 2008, together with the volunteers that cared for feral cats which were later relocated to a protected colony of the same name.

Currently, El Jardinet dels Gat’s project has grown, caring for other colonies, and has become a reference in the animal protection movement in Barcelona. We rely on a group of volunteers and an wide and professional social network that supports us and acts in favour of abandoned and feral cats.
