We receive new cases on an ongoing basis, and each one is unique. For this reason, it is not always possible to publish all cases online. However, if you contact the person in charge of foster care, she will explain the process in detail and inform you about the current cases that need a foster home.
Foster placements last at least six months, and preferably have no fixed end date. This helps avoid further changes for the animal if the adoption process takes longer than expected.
We look for warm, caring families who:

Live in flats or homes where outdoor spaces can be safely secured.

Lead a calm lifestyle.

Can offer a quiet and stable home environment.
It is essential to have foster carers who understand the value of patience, silence, and tranquility. Rescued animals often need time to physically and emotionally recover from abandonment and the sudden loss of their family and home—pillars that have disappeared without warning.
This stress and anxiety can cause some cats to display behaviors very different from their usual ones. Out of fear, they may show defensive or aggressive reactions, and they require time, understanding, and patience to feel safe again.
Not all cases are complex. However, when cats do not arrive emotionally broken, it is often because they are elderly, have multiple health issues, are ill, or have lived in environments where they developed reactive behaviors due to feeling unsafe.
For this reason, we need foster homes that can offer:

A safe and calm space.

Minimal foot traffic.

Preferably no other animals.

A quiet corner where the cat can slowly build trust.
